Liz & Josh's Wedding Cake




Josh and Liz are some of my favorite people. They had a lovely wedding. I am very happy for them. They chose several cake flavors for there wedding cake....marble with cream cheese filling, almond butter with cookies and cream, vanilla with strawberry mousse and the bottom tier was fudge chocolate with a chocolate mousse. Serving size 134

We are so honored that you made our cake, it was the most beautiful cake and i was so proud that it was ours!

We missed a chance to eat the cake when we were at the reception but somehow a huge portion got boxed up and taken back to my parents house where josh and I devoured the rest of it! We definately got to eat some!

Kristen's Wedding Cake







Kristin chose tiffany blue for the main color of her cake. This cake is iced in buttercream icing.


Each tier has a different flavor. Starting from the top she chose Fudge chocolate with peanut butter filling, fudge chocolate with cookies and cream, red velvet with a cream cheese filling.


The bottom tier is almond butter with a cream cheese filling. It may be hard to see. but the cupcakes are decorated with a micky mouse on each cupcake. The cupcakes are lemon with a lemon filling. Serving size is 148 for the cake

Hanley's Wedding Cake




This was Hanley's special day. All of her bridesmaids posed for a picture. Her reception was held at Queen's University. The reception hall was very elegant. Hanley chose Chocolate fudge with a buttercream filling, vanilla with a chocolate cream cheese filling and the bottom layer was chocolate fudge with a chocolate mousse filling. Penny's Wedding Cake




Penny chose a beautiful cake. We used a caramel colored frosting with caramel flavoring added to the frosting. Smelled delicious. The white lillies were made out of royal icing. The edible pearls around the base of each cake is made from fondant. The top and bottom tier of the cake was a wonderful yellow butter cake with cookies and cream for the filling. Tiffany's Wedding Cake

Chris and Laura's Wedding Cake


This cake was delivered to Raffaldini Vineyards overlooking the Mountains of North Carolina. It was the perfect setting for a romantic wedding. The grapes were made from gum paste, the leaves were made from my white chocolate rolled fondant. The cake flavors: top layer was coconut with a coconut cream filling, second tier was chocolate with raspberry filling and chocolate mousse filling, third layer was red velvet with a cream cheese filling. Serving size 134. The wedding was so lovely and this cake was enjoyed by all!

Gloria's Wedding Cake


This lovely square cake was done for a very sweet bride.
She chose a black and white elegant cake. Each layer is a different flavor. Almond butter with a raspberry filling, chocolate with a raspberry filling and for the bottom layer a pound cake with a chocolate mousse filling. This cake will serve approximately 154 people

Tiffany's Wedding Cake

Each layer is edged with a white chocolate rolled fondant pearl.

Elegant fondant bow



The bow on this cake is made from rolled fondant dusted with pearl dust. Edible pearls are used to accent this cake. It makes a lovely cake.

Fall Wedding


This cake was decorated with buttercream icing and accented with a swirl design on the sides. Brown ribbon was wrapped around each layer of the cake. This cake served approximately 130 people.

Martha's Wedding Cake


The bow on top of this cake is made from fondant. The brown ribbon is made from homemade chocolate fondant. The top tier of this cake is vanilla with cookies and cream, middle layer is vanilla with raspberry and the bottom is lemon with a lemon pudding. Serving size is 78

Rosa's Wedding

This is my first hexagon wedding cake to decorate. I really like the elegant look that it presents. The cake flavors are chocolate with a strawberry mousse filling, red velvet with a cream cheese filling, chocolate with a cookies and cream filling and the largest cake is strawberry with a chocolate mousse filling. This cake will feed 145.

The bride also order a sheet cake that serves 60. Almond butter with bavarian cream.

Elegant Black and Gold Wedding


I did this wedding cake for a very sweet bride. Her colors were black and gold....very elegant colors. She chose 2 flavors for her cake. Chocolate fudge with a cream cheese filling and Golden Butter with a cream cheese filling. Both excellent choices. This cake will serve approximately 175 people

50th Birthday Party Cake


I did this for a surprise birthday party. The cake flavors were almond butter with a raspberry filling and a strawberry cake with a strawberry filling. The bow was made from fondant covered with a small amount of pearl dust. Serving size is 80 people.

Maria's Wedding Cake


This cake is covered with white buttercream frosting. THe flavor of the top tier is almond butter with a banana filling. The two other tiers are vanilla with a strawberry filling. Serving size is 120

Cascading Pink Roses


This cake was delivered to the Marriott on Tyvola Road.
The bride and groom chose a 3 tiered cake. Almond butter with a rasperry filling, almond butter with a strawberry filling and a very moist vanilla cake for the bottom tier. The roses are made from buttercream icing.
This cake will serve around 120 people

MODERN STYLE WEDDING CAKE


This cake was frosted in blue buttercream icing overlayed with chocolate fondant. The fondant has a tootsie roll taste to it. You will see this cake in many of your wedding magazines. Check out the new spring and summer issue of The Knot 2007. My cake is featured in this magazine.

Beautiful Fall Wedding


I enjoyed making this cake for a lovely bride. Each layer is a different flavor.
Leaves are stenciled on the sides of the cake. The fresh flowers make it a beautiful fall wedding cake. This cake will serve 170 people

Floating Hearts


These heart shaped wedding cakes were placed on a floating stand. The flowers are gum paste calli lillies made by hand. The bride chose an almond butter flavor cake with a raspberry filling. She also had 3 side heart shaped cakes.

50 years Together


This 3 tiered cake was done for a 50th wedding anniversary.
The cake flavor was almond butter with a raspberry filling.
The flowers are violet petunias and white roses. This cake will serve approximately 109 people.

Elegant Ivory Wedding Cake


This cake was done with buttercream icing. The roses on top of the cake are made from royal icing. I love the string work . This was a new talent I just learned. The borders are made of edible pearls dipped in pearl dust.

The Cake with the Pearl Decor


This cake was done for a March bride. The reception was held at Byron's at the South End Atrium. I used an impression matte to make the diamond shapes on each layer. Each cross section has a fondant pearl placed in the center. I used fondant to make the bow and to make the pearls framing each layer. The flavors are almond butter, yellow butter and chocolate pound cake with a cream cheese filling inside each layer. This cake will serve approximately 200 people

Maureen & L.J. Wedding



I enjoyed doing this cake for Maureen and L.J.'s wedding reception. I was a guest at this wedding. L.J. was our neighbor. We wish him and Maureen the very best. They chose 3 different cake flavors.
Lemon with strawberry, chocolate fudge with cookies & cream, almond butter with cream cheese and also chocolate fudge with raspberry filling.
I loved doing the design up the side of the cake. The flowers are made from royal icing. All the other frosting on this cake is buttercream.
I had many folks tell me how delicous the cake was. Never get tired of hearing those nice compliments.

Truffles



These cake truffles are nice for any occasion. They are great to just pop into your mouth.
The dipped chocolate strawberries are also very delicious.


I loved the pale pink roses placed around each tier. The roses were made from buttercream. This cake will serve 70 to 80 people

Calla Lilly Bouquet


This small cake is the top layer to a 3 layer wedding cake.
When it is completed it will set on a floating stand. The other 2 layers of cake also have hanging string work. Each of the cakes is accented with fondant pearls.
The topper on this cake was done by myself. It has small gum paste flowers nestled into a bouquet of calla lillies.
This particular cake is a 6" cake. The flavor is chocolate fudge with chocolate mousse filling.

60 YEARS OLD

This cake was done for a 60th birthday party. The number 60 on the top was made from melted chocolates. The top layer of the cake was a yellow butter flavor with a raspberry filling. The middle layer was a red velvet with a cream cheese filling. The bottom layer was a yellow butter with a pineapple filling.
They also chose a large sheet cake with a chocolate flavor and a chocolate mousse filling. Serving size 120

This cake was decorated with fresh tulips for a spring day wedding. I used a press to make the diagonal lines on the sides of the cake and accented with fondant pearls. The bride chose redvelet with cream cheese, chocolate with a chocolate mousse and almond butter with a raspberry filling. This cake will serve 108 people

A SEPTEMBER WEDDING



Each layer is a different flavor, each with a delicious filling included.
Classic vanilla with a strawberry filling is the top layer, second layer is a chocolate fudge with a chocolate mouse filling, the third layer is almond butter with a cream cheese filling. Doesn't that all sound very yummy.... I'm sure everyone enjoyed dessert.
I think the edible pearls made out of fondant are a beautfiul accent to this cake.

One thing that was really nice about this cake was the setup. We used a white table cloth with lights scattered all over the table with a sheer cloth placed over that. The cake was placed on a small lifter to lift it above the lights. I thought this was very elegant for an evening wedding.
